A DIY Necklace Organization Solution

Necklace storage has always been a tricky one. I remember when I was younger and I'd store them in a drawer, which would ultimately result in one cluster of a necklace knot.

In our last house, I bought a couple necklace hanger pieces that go up on the wall, these worked well there, but once I finished my closet rebuild in our current house, I knew I couldn't use those in it.

  1. They were too long to be mounted properly in the space I needed them to be.

  2. They were a dark wood color, granted, this could easily be painted, but they still didn't fit.

I had already picked out a cubby hole in the new closet build where they'd be going

And the easiest way to customize with hooks, especially in this kind of material was command hooks...

So I put them all up...

And it worked perfectly for what I needed. It was super nice to not have to have my necklaces in bags, and was a pretty quick and inexpensive solution.
