59 Parks: Mesa Verde

Mesa Verde is located in the Southwest area of Colorado. We visited it in November 2020, so some of the hikes, tours, etc. were unavailable (safety precautions from Coronavirus) but we were still able to drive throughout, walk through a few of the sheltered preservation spots, and see the large cliff-dwelling structures from afar.

As a graphic designer, I especially appreciated the signage in this one. It was well marked as we drove through the park.

There were a lot of natural beauties in this park (I especially liked the Salvador Dali-ish trees throughout) but this park is impressive most, because of the ancient structures throughout.
