The LEGO Typewriter

We each did our second "big" kits from LEGO.

I picked a typewriter, and Drew picked R2-D2 collector series.

I was really excited about this typewriter when I saw it. You wouldn't know it's LEGO just by looking at it, and it looks like a nice decorative piece you can have on display.

This kit went fairly quickly- doing, on average, a bag a night, and a little over a week.

I did end up having to redo several steps along the way- this kit was more finicky than my previous one (the Porsche) because it had a lot of mechanics that went into it.

(I didn't take as many progress pictures of this kit because quite a few steps were more technical based, and not visually exciting)

I really like the finished product and think it makes a pretty cool display piece in my office
