Bird Bath Update

Is it silly to spend time on 'renovating' a bird bath?

Maybe

Did it bring me immense joy to paint this and add a diving board for the birds?

Sure did

Last spring I bought a hanging bird bath to sit next to the hummingbird feeder. The bird bath I bought was pretty standard, nothing fancy. A simple hardware store purchase:

Well, this year when I was putting our outdoor decor/items back out, I thought why not make this a little cuter? I've got paint

So, I did

^ don't fret, I did paint touch-ups once I was done

Then, I thought why not make it a little extra with a tiny diving board?

So, I did

The diving board fell off shortly after it went up, but seeing the more colorful version still brings a smile to my face when I look out into the backyard.
