10k Training: Week 2

Into week 2!
There are about 16 weeks of training according to the app- still leaving a ways to go, but the first week is always the hardest for me in getting started. This week nothing should get in the way of the schedule I have for training this week, so I'm feeling confident about it.
Sunday
Day 1 Week 2- Another workout down. I did pause to drink water, and to stretch out on this day, but it was really nice running again with Bestie. We delayed it by an hour and started the workout around 8:30, which was much hotter than last week's earlier time, but we're also at a point of the season where the weather should start cooling down.
Monday
No activity- rest day
Tuesday
Didn't do anything on Tuesday
Wednesday
Day 2 Week 2- 28 minutes total, with 8 of that being running
This day was hard to get motivated to get up and go, but I reminded myself that not doing it wouldn't make the finish line any easier...
Thursday
Didn't do anything on Thursday
Friday
Day 3 Week 2- 31 minutes total with 9 running
Fridays feel easier because it's wrapping up a week, it's the final piece to crossing off a week. The sunset was gorgeous, and that definitely helped.
Saturday
Didn't do any activity here either
Week 2 Down!
I know it's only technically 6 days of training between the two weeks, but I don't care. I'm dang proud of myself for following the first two weeks of the training program.
Biggest Lesson this week:
The running days are actually easier when I walk on the off days.
